As much as I love a good sunny engagement session, I was totally digging this gloomy summer engagement session! Plus, these two have SOOOO much chemistry! I am so excited to photograph their wedding this summer! Also, side note, we may or may not have gotten into a park that is members only without being members...... maybe we did, maybe we didn't! lol

Phillip + Tracy // Belle Isle Engagement

This summer I ventured downtown to Belle Isle with these two lovebirds! 

This is one of my favorite place to take photographs. There are so many unique little places within the island to find and the sunsets are amazing!

These two work so great as a team. They truly uplift each other! You can feel the connection between them when you see them together. Tracy and I went to high school together so I was really excited when she asked me to do her engagement photos! 

Jeff + Emily // Edsel + Eleanor Ford House Engagement

Gosh, where do I start with these two? Not only are they super adorable as a couple but they are definitely ideal clients. Super fun, up for anything, laid-back, hilarious. Yes, I'll take a few more couples like this any day. I have been so blessed this year!

Emily picked the Edsel + Eleanor Ford House and I have to say, it is one of the most gorgeous locations I have ever shot engagements at. What a bummer they do not have weddings here. (P.s. It just became a historical site!) 

I feel like we literally walked into a novel like the secret garden or something!
