This was a fun shoot I had with Lisa. We ventured out to Wolcott Historic Mill and had fun walking around and getting some really great shots of her!

We headed down to the pond and I LOVED how you could see her reflection! It felt very dream-like to me. I love how the ripples recreated her image in the water. :)

Then I made her a crown from the tree. It felt very earthy and natural. I did a Vogue edit here to give it that little extra boost!

I really love to shoot through things to give little pops of color. I started doing this last year and I love how it makes Lisa pop through the colors of the leaves!

And apparently I can not get enough of crowns, so I made her a flower crown as well, which because of the colors actually looks like a crown!

Thank you Lisa for having me do these photos for you! I hope you love them as much as I do!

Macomb County Newborn {10 days New}

This was my first Newborn shoot, like ever, and I have to say, I loved it!
Firstly, this little lady is a beauty! Look at those cute little baby lips, and her hair! Ahh, I hope she doesn't make everyone get baby fever! :)
There is something so special about babies in their first few days of life.

{side note, we are using mommy as a cushion}

First things first, I am so happy Lucie asked me to do this photoshoot for her. She needed a portfolio for film school and I was really excited to set this all up. First thing I could think of was Film Noir.
Lucie and I went to school together so I know first hand that she is very talented, not just at performing, but she is an amazing singer as well!
Secondly, I am pretty pumped about how these images turned out. In college Dramatic Lighting was my specialty! I haven't been able to do a lot of shoots like this since I mainly do outdoor location photography, so this was awesome-sauce!

Lucie's brother made her this fancy smancy long cigarette holder which works
PERFECTLY
for our theme!

Thank you again Lucie for letting me be all creative with your shoot!
You are beautiful and I know you will do great at film school!
