Raymond + Cassandra // Charming Milestone Barn Wedding

Raymond and Cassandra had one of the most beautiful (and hottest) weddings last September at The Milestone Barn in Bannister. They were thinking they would have a nice cool September wedding but good ole Michigan weather graced us with almost 100 degrees.... so so sweaty! lol
This day was so relaxed yet full of fun. These two were surrounded by so much love from family and friends. Cassandra had one of the most beautiful dresses I photographed last year!
The Milestone Barn did not disappoint either. It was absolutely stunning! I love that you can make this venue rustic/chic!

Alex + Lucie // Golden Hawk Golf Course Wedding

Alex + Lucie had a beautiful wedding at Golden Hawk Golf Course.
These two have a special place in my heart! I've known Lucie for years (we went to school together) and I have never seen her this happy. These two have so much chemistry you can probably feel it from this photo!

A few years ago I photographed Lucie in a film noir style for some portraits and she told me that ever since then she has wanted me to photograph her wedding someday. I was so honored when they asked me! I photograph a lot of weddings but there is something so special about doing a wedding for someone you know. You get to be a part of their story and its probably one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Alex and Lucie met at film school. What started out as a great friendship soon turned into a magical love story. They may have tried to deny their connection but come on, we all knew! ;)
These two have constant support for each other in their professional as well as personal lives. They set the bar for how you are suppose to uplift each other in a marriage. I've never met two people who push each other to greatness more than these two! Not only do these two support each other but they have an amazing group of friends who are so close-knit as well!

p.s. These two are in the film industry, check out their short film Aroma when you get a chance. You can view it here: AKOMA
Be sure to scroll down to their video and give it a watch! You won't regret it!
